I have a song to sing
And I will sing it from my heart
A song that tells the truth
A song that tells a tale

A song written from deep within
A song inspired from the pans we play

I will chant with the birds from sunrise to sunset
A melody that will put you at peace
A song that will take your breath away

And I will sing it to the children all around
A song that they will remember
A song that they can sing
A song that you can sing

I can even play with a string
A song that you yourself can play
A rhythm that no one has ever felt
A beat that will move your feet

And I will sing it for all to hear
A song that can be heard in any atmosphere
A song that even the stars can hear

‘I Have Song To Sing’, is inspired by my love for music and the sounds of pan. The poem shares that feel of affection I have for music composed in the Caribbean and by our upcoming Artistes who need that exposure. Music keeps us together as well as expressing our emotions.

A little business I founded in 2007, which was inspired by my sister who has 5 kids, I looked at their lil bam bams, and said I could make some money here. (laugh out loud) smile…

I am Confident and Independent, but this attitude comes with the whole 9 yards. Drama, Tears, Lies and Deceit, Secret Affairs and Jealousy; Break ups and Make ups; Forgiving but never forgets. Moody with Beauty, Brains and Body.

'My Life' was is still about partying, dating and calling my own shots. Then I lost my power of confidence, and all I had was a pretty face and a regular 8-4 job. I wanted more and I deserved more! I love the social events and nightlife. When I drink, I become the Flirtatious Butterfly. You would think I'm a natural.

In a room where you have cute guys and Ms. O’Jay-Maria, know there’s double trouble. Nothing to be ashamed of I guess, why pretend to be something I'm not when everybody wants to be me!

Throughout life, I also learnt that falling in love is great and the break ups are even greater, it made me stronger. Loosing best friends helped me to appreciate the new ones. My greatest joy now is myself. I love me for who I am and what I do. I have been there, done that and now sharing my life experiences with that world...

Oh yes, I'm back to Ms. Confident and Ms. Independent! I have accomplished a lot and still moving forward. I tell people every day, its being content with yourself that counts, but only if you’re progressing in life. "Just balance life". At this moment my plate is full and I’m limited, so it's hard just trying to balance it.
